I’m Heather, and I’m an entirely self taught nomadic photographer. I shoot almost entirely with my D5100 and 50mm 1.8 lens – once in a while I’ll pull out the 300mm for a bird. I have no idea what my style is – maybe someone can tell me? I shoot what I find interesting, odd, or just cool looking and try to do it justice. I process to the image – I don’t have a standard formula I follow when editing, I just do what works.

My background is in archaeology, so I’ve always traveled a lot and we’re an odd bunch in general. My photos are from all over. Including my own head – as with my Marshmallow Microcosm series. Anthropomorphic marshmallows doing various everyday things? Heck ya. It is what it sounds like. Check ‘em out.
