Born from the urge to address post-pandemic isolation Otis Green created Craft it Out, a guided workshop series that is more than just an art class. It’s an artistic journey that focuses on three essential pillars: Reflection, Expression, and Connection.
Through the usage of found materials and multimedia collage Otis has created ways to confront the intimidation of “blank page anxiety” that often comes with working in traditional art. The result is an accessible and inclusive creative experience where anyone—from professional artists to those who cant remember the last time they picked up a paintbrush—can connect with their unique creative voice and others.

The Experience
Every session is meticulously structured to engage different levels of creativity through:
- Introspective Prompts: Guided writing to spark inner dialogue.
- Technical Guidance: Illustration tips and abstract techniques.
- Collaging Mastery: Learning to layer meaning using found materials.
- A Safe Space: A curated environment for self-care and social connection.
Diverse Programming
Whether the goal is a lighthearted gathering or a deep-dive into self-reflection, the curriculum is highly adaptable.
OxG Originals (Deep Reflection)
- Inner Child Work: Reconnecting with your younger, uninhibited self.
- Shadow Play: Exploring the hidden parts of our psyche.
- Mind, Body & Soul: A holistic approach to creative wellness.
