Here’s my first tattoo. From euclidean geometry, these are the five platonic solids. They’re named after the ancient Greek philosopher Plato who theorized in his dialogue, the Timaeus, that the classical elements were made of these regular solids (earth, wind, fire, water, as well as a fifth shape representing spirit). A beautiful display of my love for both Philosophy and the elements of the earth around us.
