Progress

Soo I’m still adjusting to the concept of posting things here instead of Instagram.

I probably mentioned it in my last post but I’ve deleted all social media off of my phone because I didn’t like how attached nor how high my screen time was.

Now I only post from my iPad and scroll on my computer which has changed my relationship with the app in a big way. I can now intentionally use it to check on and promote my friends without falling into a spiral of doomscrolling.

Now that I can’t add to my story on the fly I need to adjust to posting here instead, for example I signed up for a daily sketch challenge at a nearby art store that has helped turn drawing daily into a practical and enjoyable habit.

Last night I finally started colouring a large piece I’ve been planning and designing for a couple months now and it felt great.

Mawu

I’m clearly very timid with this piece as Ive only coloured with very faint pencil crayon so far to get the values in- I plan to go back in with watercolour and a bit of acrylic is select spots for texture but for now I’m just building the confidence.

I bought a coverall/jumpsuit at Public Butter during my weekend and I love the way it feels. Some reason I find it much easier to focus and be productive while wearing it + this one is a large which is much roomier and more comfortable compared to my other one that’s a medium.

I genuinely want a different jumpsuit for everyday of the week, that is my goal, my dream.

Bonus: I baked muffins for the first time the other day and they are pretty yummy, not quite perfect but yummy nonetheless
