It’s that time of the year again… Gallery1988 are throwing another of their Crazy 4 Cult shows (which i have been very happy to contribute to in the past), and this time around they are celebrating the bad guy.

I decided to turn my pen to Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet and do a piece featuring the Tybalt Capulet – a great bad guy from a really genuinely five-star-great movie. I watched it again recently, and I think it’s fair to say that it’s the definitive big screen take on the text. I wanted to try and capture the Miami by way of Mexico vibe of the fictitious Verona Beach setting and it’s unflappably cool bad guy.
