“Dying to be FREE”

Tired of her husband, and all of her stupid kids
Hannah wanted to hire a hitman to drown them all like squids
But that would be so messy, and cost prohibitive
Poor Hannah was stuck in a life she no longer wished to live.

So she did what any good mom would do, and faked her own death
Pretending to all the world that she had taken her last breath.
Staging a nuclear explosion, and she’d be counted among the dead
They’ll all blame it on the terrorists, and many tears will be shed.

She giggles to herself, imagining her family around an empty casket
Her husband alone will raise those kids, and she hopes he blows a gasket.
She mildly regrets that to escape her life, others had to die
But she’s sure if she asked them, they’d not want her to live a lie

No one should have to be chained to the mistakes they made,
And while it’s a crime to murder millions, it’s a bigger crime if she stayed.
It’s a tiny sacrifice to make, so that Hannah could be who she’s meant to be
She had to stage her death, so that she could live her life free.
